Goals for a New Year.

Updated: Dec 31, 2020

I know a lot of people say you shouldn’t make goals for the new year, it’s better not to have expectations or whatever. But honestly, I feel like it helps me a lot to have a direction for where I am going in the new year. I just make sure to have a lot of small victories and just a few that seem unrealistic but I can try.

This next year’s goals are:

  • To be a better housewife, keep it clean and peaceful.

  • Get rid of everything causing clutter in our home.

  • Learn to keep inflammation off my body.

  • Post a blog post twice a week on the blog.

  • Order seeds.

  • Work on the greenhouse.

  • Begin seedlings.

  • Raise & Sell Chickens.

  • Sell eggs more often.

  • Clear out my office and set it back up for success.

  • Write & Publish another book.

  • Grow closer to God & grow within the relationship.

  • Do bible study more often.

  • Drink more water daily.

  • Date nights weekly.

  • Learn more about herbs and remedies.

  • Save up $300 for the Christmas Fund. Whatever is left after buying gifts, go on an anniversary trip.

  • Save up $1,000 for the emergency fund.

  • Pay off the credit card. DO NOT USE UNLESS HAVE TO!

  • Start buying Christmas presents earlier. (September? October?)

  • Go on a vacation.

  • Plant more fruit trees.

  • Live more naturally. Adopt a more natural, simple living approach to things.

2020 was hard and 2021 may not be any easier, but we can always strive to do better for ourselves, to heal ourselves, to better our lives, and seek out what will help us to live easier.

Use 2021 to start fresh, to start new, to work on that project, to get healthier, to learn that new hobby, to create a better you!
