A Short but Sweet (with a little cheesy twist) Weekend.

The past weekend flew by because we stayed so busy. I took the boys to their second pheasant shoot out at my dads Hunting Preserve and Coltie acted like he was right at home, he ran up and started helping my dad load the pheasants up into the back of the truck. Kayven was a bit more shy and as fast as he grabbed a pheasant he threw it just as fast! 😂 But in Colts mind, this was a celebration for him.

We watched a backhoe and tractor which were both stuck in the swamp be pulled around and the topic over dinner and breakfast the next two days were "taco" "stuck" "Tractor" "stuck" - kayven had trouble saying backhoe so he calls it Taco 🌮? But we all know what he means.

Then we spent the day with my mom, stepdad, and nanny on Sunday hunkering down during the storms. We stayed in our pajamas, watched Scooby doo movies, and ate cheesy pickles all day.

(Cheesy pickles are like fried pickles, no frying, but

And healthy.)

You spray a muffin pan with oil, place enough cheese in each muffin pan to cover the bottom, top with a dill pickle chip then bake at 350 for around 13 minutes. I may go a minute or two longer to really get a crunch. But they're SO GOOD. 🤤

So yeah, that's our weekend. :)

Talk to you later!
