An Evening of Fishing 🎣

ree

It’s not everyday that we get to genuinely rest and relax, but this weekend we got a day to rest. So we went to the local store and got some new fishing poles, worms, & $1 kites for the boys.

Then we went down to the pond and we caught a few catfish, some brim and a few other kinds of fish. The boys enjoyed reeling them in and screeched with excitement everytime their cork bobbed in the water. Kayven couldn’t let his sit long enough in the water and was constantly reeling it in and throwing it back out.

Ever since they’ve been asking to go back fishing so I guess we will have to continue doing this on our “rest” days.
