Anti-inflammatory

ree

As promised last week, we will be talking all about how you can get rid of inflammation! The way I lost inflammation before getting pregnant was by eating/drinking fruits, vegetables, broth, and water. There are certain ways to make it easier on you though.

Here is a guide to eating to reduce inflammation.

  1. Eat plenty of fresh fruits + vegetables. (grapes, celery, garlic, and blueberries are perfect examples of inflammation fighting foods!)

  2. The Meditteranean diet is great for losing inflammation. Are you a PCOS girly? This diet is one you'll want to dive further into. It's perfect for helping relive PCOS symptoms.

  3. Cut back on things that promote inflammation like red meat, corn oil, processed foods, deep fried food.

  4. Limit or avoid simple carbs. white bread, white rice, regular pasta, etc. (White foods + avoid) Choose more whole wheat options like whole wheat breads, pasta, brown/wild rice, etc.

  5. Manage stress. I know, this is my hardest one. Choose yoga, meditate, etc. I choose to hula hoop while watching tv.

  6. Exercise. Like I said, I hula hoop while watching tv. I use a weighted hula hoop and it's not only fun but I also can watch tv and zone out while exercising. I do that for 30 minutes - 1 hour 3-4 days a week. Depends on how the week has been.

Stay tuned for more next week! ♥️
