Around The Farm

Around the Farm: February Edition

It's been a little while since I wrote anything on a Sunday but it's been such a busy week that I have been behind on EVERYTHING. Today I was finally able to slow down a little bit. Sort of.

The Farmer woke up sick, I woke up with what felt like a rupturing cyst, it was a little chaotic in the house this morning. I got ready for church, the cyst pain got worse and the farmer laid on the couch. I joined him and laid down on the other couch until my pain subsided. I grabbed my bible and tried to get a little Jesus in my life since we wouldn't be in church today. But my mind kept wandering.

and it wasn't showing any signs of stopping.

So, I let the farmer rest all day then I got him out of the house once the rain passed. We went to check on the cattle and I asked the farmer to stop a few times so I could take photos. At one point, I found myself wandering through the woods and I realized something, I was getting my Jesus just by being out in His creation.

I have always heard that saying, "How can you not believe in God when you see the trees, the sky, the animals, creation?"

Today, walking through the woods and snapping photos of birds, flowers, and trees, it was incredible to think that my Father in Heaven had created every single detail of every single flower, tree, and bird that I was now looking at and snapping photos of.

It was a refreshing way to get my Jesus for the day. By going out on a field trip and actually SEEING for myself the creation that He has made.
