"Daddy's Home!"

The sun has set and the sky has a wonderful orange glow to it just above the treetops. I watch out the window over the fields at the black silhouettes of the trees. The lights on the farm truck flash on and begin to creep across the field. I whisper in Abbie's ear, "Daddy's coming home." She jumps up and looks out the window. When she sees the lights she lets out a loud bark to alert Baxter and Clementine who are curled up together on the floor. They all jump up and run to the window.

The lights are now closer and they know who's about to come in. They all gather around the door letting out excited barks, it's as if they're saying, "Daddy's Home!"

It's so beautiful to see them so excited and so happy to see the farmer coming in for the night.

He opens the door and is rushed by the excited babies all running around him cheerfully barking and yelping. Love is such a beautiful thing.
