January Happenings.

ree

So much has happened in the past couple of weeks, you've been along for the ride for most of it if you follow me on Facebook.

We got awarded "Farm Family of the Year" for 2021, the boys had an appointment with their new pediatrician, we switched Coltie back to his regular formula, found out he does not have a milk protein allergy like our previous pediatrician stated, & we caught covid and are finally getting over it! It's been one helluva month!

So, let's just say January was a free trial and February is the legit 2021.

Here's to 2021, again! Cheers!

I am waiting on an order of jewelry-making stuff to come in then I am beginning on fresh jewelry for the year! Think, Western, Country, Vintage! I'm SO excited about this!

Some more stuff happening around the farm is:

We are doing a homestead rehab. - We've torn down a duck pen and a chicken coop and are cleaning it up to place a massive garden closer to the homestead. That way I can take the boys to the garden this year without having to walk a half mile. I can't wait to plant it full of fruits & veggies, whatever I don't use for our family will be sold at the stands this Summer.

Soon we will be planting more fruit trees and replanting some of the ones that died. Peaches, Plums, Citrus, you name it, I want it. I even thought about planting a pomegranate tree!

We are planning out a couple of trips this year for us to enjoy with the boys. A couple seems to line up with the same route as certain auctions, suspish but whatever. We thought about going to the Little Grand Canyon with the boys. Another place we want to go is to Vidalia, Ga to show them the Vidalia onion museum, it only makes sense because we sell them at the stands during the Summer, straight from Vidalia! Also, they love the yumion books so I'm determined to find a yumion doll. One other place is Burton Brooks Peach Orchard, we grow our own peaches but how fun would it be to get a photo of them with their peach ice cream in front of an old vintage truck? I'm determined to make these boys as many memories as possible!

We've been having the cattle in the backyard and it's been so neat to be able to take the boys to the window and let them stare out at the cattle grazing right at the window. They love being able to go outside and see the animals and feel the warm sun.

It's a wonderful life.

So what've y'all been up to? It's been a minute!!

Hi! Don't be Shy!

I can feel my life pivoting. We moved to a new town, I chopped off all my hair, we redone our home. Life changed so fast and so suddenly that it was like something inside of me changed with it. My ide
