Our Safe Place.

ree

A few weeks ago, Facebook and Instagram went dark. They were down for almost an entire day. We all scrambled trying to figure out what was wrong and that's when I realized that most of my stuff is on Facebook and Instagram. I panicked thinking I had lost everything, but then I was like oh gosh, the people who read my blog are mainly on Facebook and Instagram. (I also decided that day that I will be putting more stuff on my actual blog just so it doesn't get lost if something happened to Facebook or Instagram.)

I felt like I had no way of getting ahold of anybody that I didn't already have in my contacts. So that's when I told myself that I needed to make a post on my blog about this.

If anything ever happens with the main social handles again, come here to Lady of the Farm to get ahold of me. My contact page is here, you can comment, you can read. Lady of the Farm will be here as long as my website handler keeps taking the $28 out of my account. This is our safe place. The place we can meet up at if we ever get separated by the waves of social media.

It felt so primitive not having contact with anyone on Facebook or Instagram, but at the same time it was pretty nice. I was forced to take care of my house, myself, and I got some extra one on one time with the twins. It was kind of nice not having to worry about my blog traffic, my posting schedules, and analytics.

Anyway, I'll post again later!
