The Delivery.

My feet squished in the mud that had collected in my crocs. I had left the sprinklers on this end of the garden too long. My feet were covered in mud!

Half of the garden was ready for planting and the other half was a bit... grassy.

I let the sprinklers sit on that area in the garden so that I could easily get the grass up and then begin bedding it. Usually, I have the farmer's help, but he's busy with his own crops so I am working on mine solo this year. Well, I have cheerleaders on the sidelines in their stroller. But honestly it makes me feel more accomplished because I know that I did this and I did it all on my own!

But no big equipment, no bedder, I don't have a tiller or cultivator. I've always had help getting it up and ready. But now it's just me and my garden hoe. The farmer, I think, enjoys watching me work for this garden. In the past, I have always had my own separate garden. One that I can enjoy and sell or can as I please. But this is the first year I have had one so close to our home and the first year I have worked so hard for something.

But every evening I have been going out and cleaning it up, adding new things, and planting new produce. Today I am having a delivery coming! Just one more part of my garden plan! I wanted an entrance sort of? Eventually, I will make some sort of fence around it but until then...

So I am taking two galvanized raised beds and planting cucumbers in them. Then I am running the cucumbers up a cow panel arch! I am so excited about this!

I had also thought about doing pumpkins or gourds this way too!

Today the galvanized planters are arriving. Along with some of the boy's Summer items.

But I am so excited I could scream. LOL!
