The Rain & Gardens.

ree

The days here in South Georgia have been hot, humid, rainy, & sticky. We've gotten so much rain lately and it's so noticeable in the fields, the produce, and especially the ponds and rivers. But with all the rain and heat our corn and tomatoes have begun to get ready faster and what isn't ready yet, looks so much better after the rain.

Last night and today we headed to the garden to look at the watermelons, corn, and flowers. Then we headed to Tifton to see our tomatoes, cucumbers, peas, peppers, and corn. The tomatoes are coming in so fast. The cucumbers are almost done with. It's so nice to be able to finally see the products of our hard work. Soon we will be harrowing up space for our pumpkins, sunflowers, and Fall corn. I am so excited about that. Pumpkins just make me so happy.

Lately, we've been going full speed ahead and I am so tired. My body is tired, my mind is tired. I want to slow down, but I can't. I long for the days when I have nothing to do and nowhere to go. Anyhow, I don't know how I forgot to show you our family photos but here is one! I'll post the rest later.

Bye for now!
